Abstract
The European Youth Guarantee is an innovative policy that involves ensuring that all young people receive quality training or work opportunities that correspond to their skills and experience. This article analyzes the main characteristics of this system, examining the factors that determine its success and its presence in the implementation process in European countries. Our analysis shows that although most of the application plans include the recommended combination of training and labor intermediation, as well as an adequate institutional framework, this unanimity is not observed regarding the allocation of resources.
