Abstract
Article on the need to base choice of teaching methodology in vocational training on careful assessment of the effectiveness of each type of training in a given set of circumstances - comprises (1) an analysis, in support of the authors theoretical argumentation, of the advantages and disadvantages of 6 systems of training metalworkers in the light of 7 economic criteria, and (2) application of the method of analysis to some of the economic problems facing developing countries.
