Abstract
Reports on the development of the ILO's People's Security Surveys, designed to track the seven forms of work-related security comprising decent work, to highlight people's aspirations and sense of social justice and to measure the impact of policies and institutions. Outlines the main features of the Survey, and, based on survey data for Indonesia, describes initial attempts to combine individual indicators of six forms of security into a single Decent Work Index.
