Abstract
Description of the village cooperative scheme set up by the government of Peru, in the face of rural area population growth, unemployment, underemployment, low productivity, and outdated land tenure systems and cultivation techniques, to further rural development, community development and the creation of employment opportunities by joint volunteer (mostly student) and rural worker effort - includes social integration and economic integration.
