Abstract
Article in an ILO pub highlighting important changes in health insurance during its evolution in socialist countries of Europe - describes modification thereof within the social security systems of Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, the German Democratic Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania and the USSR in the light of changes in the social structure resulting from political changes and changes in economic administration, and covers modification of health services, occupational pension schemes, etc.
