Article on measures to promote equality of human rights and employment opportunities for men and women in the USSR - covers geographical aspects, aspects of ethnography, equal pay and hours of work for the woman worker, educational planning measures to combat illiteracy, equality of legal status for married women, the development of vocational training and technical education, etc., and includes comments on relevant legislation (incl. Labour legislation).
