Analyses the factors which have contributed to the perpetuation of the bonded labour system in Nepal and suggests changes in policies and programmes to deal more effectively with the problem. Includes comments on the Forced Labour Convention, 1930 (No.29) and the Abolition of Forced Labour Convention, 1957 (No.105).
