Provides an overview through five country snapshots of three key parameters for greater use of information and communication technologies (ICT) by teachers in primary and secondary classrooms and in tertiary institutions: social dialogue mechanisms, initial teacher education and continual professional development (CPD) programmes available; and the spatial and time dimensions which hinder or facilitate greater ICT use, including work organization and working hours.
