Abstract
This technical paper, jointly prepared with ISSA and OECD for the 1st Employment Working Group meeting under the Indian presidency, describes the current reach of social protection systems across G20 countries and associated financing gaps, current funding mixes, and approaches that various G20 countries adopted for expanding fiscal space for social protection.
