Abstract
Argues that there is an urgent challenge to develop policies and strategies to generate decent and productive jobs through the promotion of sustainable micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises in the Arab region. Examines how the private sector can be leveraged to address the employment challenge through a stratey of promoting sustainable enterprises.
