Abstract
Based on the results of the first ILO pilot Inquiry on Investment in Training conducted in 2002 in 32 non-OECD countries. Examines the availability of statistics on training expenditures and participation in training activities. Identifies major sources and providers of data and suggests actions needed to compile and produce reliable statistics.
