Abstract
Presents findings from an IILS project aimed at a review of developments in the organisation and structure of small and medium sized enterprises in industrialised countries. The findings are mainly synthesized from country reports on Federal Republic of Germany, France, Hungary, Japan, Norway, Switzerland, the UK and the USA.
