Abstract
A stakeholder is anyone who may be affected by, or may affect a project. During implementation of a programme, there is need for inclusive involvement of the various stakeholders for the success of a programme. Stakeholder engagement refers to substantive, two-way dialogue involving role-players in delivery of a project. Each stakeholder plays a role during one or more stages of the project cycle. It is thus important to identify and map stakeholders so as to engage them for their relevant input at the right time.
