This brief summarizes a study conducted in 2024 as part of the ILO Safety + Health for All in South Asia project funded by the Government of Japan. Field level work was conducted by the researchers of the Occupational Safety and Health Professionals Nepal (OSHPN) and the Suryodaya Municipality of Illam district in Nepal.
