Abstract
Overviews the new trends and experiences in vocational education and training in Latin America and the Caribbean. Emphasizes current changes, such as the participation of social actors, the modernization of the deliivery process, the adoption of a competency-based approach, distance learning and the use of new information and communication technologies.
