Abstract
Maps out the use of labour provisions in the rising number of bilateral and regional trade agreements. Shows that at the international level, an important step was taken with agreement on the four Core Labour Standards (CLS), as defined in the ILO Declaration of 1998 (ILO, 1998), which are further specified in the ILO’s Fundamental Conventions.
