Provides a broad sketch of the South Asian migration profile and its distinctive characteristics and major challenges faced by the countries as a backdrop to the discussion of policy issues. Takes up a comparative review of different aspects of emigration and immigration policies in South Asian countries as reflected in their respective legislative and policy frameworks and practices.
