Abstract
Deals with issues related to employment and income (decent work) that arise through the integration of Indian production into global value chains. The sectors looked into are labour-intensive manufactures (garments and leather products), technology-intensive manufactures (automobile components), and knowledge-intensive services (sofware and business process outsourcing or information technology).
