Abstract
This Issue Brief considers how some of the changes are impacting on the temporal and spatial organization of work. When and where we perform our work are two of the most fundamental characteristics of work in general. Historical developments have already caused these dimensions of work to evolve. They are continuing to do so, with profound consequences for the individual and society.
