Trade union cooperation and collaboration are essential to strengthening workers’ voice, bargaining power and influence across Africa. This publication examines good practices from eight African countries, showing how unions can overcome fragmentation, build trust, pool resources and act together more effectively. It highlights both the opportunities and challenges of deeper collaboration, and offers strategic recommendations for trade unions, governments and international partners to support stronger, more unified and more effective workers’ organizations.
