Presents a model to assess the labour market effects of fiscal and social policies and of international economic recession. Examines in detail the employment and income dinamics in an open-economy context. Sheeds light on how these dynamics are shaped by the degree of international policy coordination and the speed of domestic policy reactions to international shocks.
