Abstract
This working paper presents an overview of the challenges and opportunities of advancing decent work in the management of e-waste in Nigeria. It captures the complexity of the e-waste value chain and its impacts, and outlines several policy solutions for addressing decent work deficits and seizing opportunities for sustainable enterprises and green jobs creation in the management of e-waste in Nigeria. Alongside two complementary papers on decent work challenges and opportunities in the management of e-waste in Argentina and India, this paper is intended to enable policy makers and stakeholders to better understand the complexity of the e-waste challenge at the national level in different countries across the globe and to develop a knowledge base for making more informed decisions and taking action to advance decent work in the management of e-waste.
