Abstract
Examines issues concerning inequalities in health for rural women: the differences in utilization of health care between men and women, and between women living in rural and urban areas; the barriers to utilization of health services for women in rural areas, and the systemic weaknesses for rural women. It presents recommendations on how to address issues in access to health care for rural women.
