Abstract
SUNU Assurances Vie is a leading life insurance company in Côte d’Ivoire and across West Africa. Insurance distribution has proved particularly challenging in Côte d’Ivoire, since there are only a few mass market channels to distribute microinsurance, such as large retail chains. SUNU Assurance Vie has seen first-hand the risks of depending upon one or two large distribution channels that do exist.
