Abstract
Mozambique faces high levels of financial exclusion, particularly among the two thirds of the population living in rural areas. Access to insurance is low and awareness and knowledge is low. NBC Mozambique was founded in 2014 and is currently the only licensed microinsurer in Mozambique. This Case Brief showcases our partnership with NBC Mozambique through which we identified and secured partnerships to distribute microinsurance in the country.
