Abstract
Based on interviews of persons involved in road and pipeline works in rural areas and building works in urban areas, assesses employment practices, the health and safety situation, availability of welfare facilities, working duration, etc. Concludes that the legal framework on construction sites, operated by foreign contractors, is generally adequate.
