Abstract
The module will serve as a tool to acquire appropriate knowledge, skills and attitude in addressing child labour. Specifically, it will help users to: (a) demonstrate understanding of child labour and its effects on children, families and communities; (b) recognize their vital role in safeguarding basic rights of children, including rights to education, play and development; (c) define ways to prevent children from being involved in child labour; (d) discuss existing programmes and services against child labour; and (e) plan initiatives and actions to combat child labour.
