Abstract
A Decade of ILO-India Partnerships: Towards a Future without Child Labour provides an overview of various programmes and collaborative efforts undertaken by the ILO with its tripartite constituents. It identifies some of the gaps, describes the evolving process of work and attempts to capture lessons learnt and suggests priorities for future action. The review demonstrates that many of the building blocks to achieve the effective abolition of child labour in India are in place and that progress has been made.
