Comprises seven papers which explore the possible implementation of a solidarity grant or basic income grant paid to every individual as right of citizenship, without conditions. Analyses the social, economic and fiscal impact of such a grant and assesses its effectiveness in reducing poverty and eradicating destitution. Examines the financing of the grant, discusses the political aspect and considers the need for a civil society campaign for the grant.
